From RALEIGH, CARY, and Points East
- US 64 West; past Jordan Lake; take Exit 381 onto NC Hwy 87 North
- RIGHT on NC Hwy 87 North - 2 miles
- LEFT on Silk Hope-Gum Springs Road - 6 miles (left turn only - at sign for Silk Hope Winery)
- RIGHT on Southwind Road (look for South Wind Farm sign)
From DURHAM and CHAPEL HILL
- NC Hwy 54 West around Chapel Hill
- LEFT on Jones Ferry Road - 7 miles
- RIGHT on Crawford Dairy Road (at Frosty’s Store) - 1.5 miles
- LEFT on Chicken Bridge Road (at fire station) - 4 miles
- LEFT on NC Hwy 87 South (at stop sign) - 0.7 mile
- RIGHT on Castle Rock Farm Road - 1.3 miles
- LEFT on Henderson-Tanyard Road (left only) - 2.5 miles

- US 64 West - 1/2 mile from courthouse circle
- RIGHT on NC Hwy 87 North (at stop light) - 4 miles
- LEFT on Silk Hope-Gum Springs Road - 6 miles (left turn only - at sign for Silk Hope Winery)
- RIGHT on Southwind Road (look for South Wind Farm sign)
From SILER CITY
- US 64 East - go 1 mile east of US 421 overpass (past Wal-Mart)
- LEFT on Silk Hope Road - 4 miles
- RIGHT on Silk Hope-Gum Springs Road (at flashing yellow light) - 2 miles
- LEFT on Southwind Road (look for South Wind Farm sign)
From GREENSBORO, WINSTON-SALEM, and Points West
- At I-40, take US 421 South from Greensboro
- Exit 171 at US 64 - Siler City Exit
- LEFT on US 64 East
- Follow directions from Siler City
From BURLINGTON, GRAHAM, and Points North
- I-85/I-40 to Exit 147
- NC Hwy 87 South - 7 miles
- RIGHT on Lindley Mill Road - 13 miles
- LEFT on Silk Hope-Gum Springs Road (at flashing yellow light) - 2 miles

From SOUTHERN PINES
- US 1 North to Sanford
- Exit onto US 421 North
- Exit onto US 64 East

From FAYETTEVILLE and Points South
- NC Hwy 87 North to Sanford
- Continue North on US 421
- Exit onto US 64 East
- Follow directions from Siler City
From CHARLOTTE, ASHEBORO and Points Southwest
- North on NC Hwy 29 out of Charlotte
- North on NC Hwy 49 to Asheboro
- RIGHT on US 64 East to Siler City
- Follow directions from Siler City
From RALEIGH-DURHAM INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (RDU)
43 miles to BTI:
- Leaving RDU Airport Terminals, stay in the far right lane
- RIGHT onto Aviation Parkway North (sign also says: TO I-540)
- Follow Aviation Parkway 2 miles
- At overpass, exit RIGHT onto I-540 WEST and go 12 miles
(note: after I-540 crosses under I-40, the highway changes names to NC 540;
there is a small toll -- which is paid by mail) - Exit NC 540 to the RIGHT to get on US 64 West
- Follow US 64 West for 18 miles;
- Take Exit 381 for NC Hwy 87 North
- RIGHT on NC 87 North - 2 miles
- LEFT on Silk Hope-Gum Springs Road - 6 miles (left turn only - at sign for Silk Hope Winery)
- RIGHT on Southwind Road (look for South Wind Farm sign)
From PIEDMONT TRIAD INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (GSO)
52 miles to BTI:
- Leaving the Airport Terminal, RIGHT onto Bryan Blvd - go 2.5 miles
- Exit RIGHT onto I-73 South - go 10 miles
- Bear LEFT at the fork, follow signs for I-85 North / I-40 East (to Durham/Raleigh)
- Merge onto I-85 North and follow for 6 miles
- Exit RIGHT onto US 421 South
- Follow US 421 South for 26 miles to US 64 / Siler City Exit
- LEFT onto US 64 East - 1 mile (past Wal-Mart)
- LEFT onto Silk Hope Road (no light at intersection) - 4 miles
- RIGHT on Silk Hope-Gum Springs Road (at flashing yellow light) - 2 miles
